About The Prop People

Hi, my name is Cherry Houston, I am the owner of "The Prop People", a wedding and event decorating specialist service to the Maryborough Hervey Bay and Bundaberg areas.

The Prop People commenced trading in February 1998 with a vision to provide brides living in country areas with fabulous décor that was equal if not better than that which was offered in the major cities. We have built and continue to build a depth and diversity of decor from which our clients can choose. Beach Weddings have become a specialty of ours in the Wide Bay area.
We are proud of the fact that we have become the first choice when people consider quality and service.

The fulfillment for me is that after an appointment my client knows the theming for her wedding is in hand, she is no longer concerned with how it will look and that excitement and anticipation are the only remaining emotions.

I enjoy my work as do our staff and this sense of enjoyment is reflected from the initial appointment, continuing through the association we have with our client and culminating in the happy relaxed way we go about setting up your very special day.
